D is for DAVIS (Katie Davis)

Katie Davis is a Children’s book illustrator and author.

However, her podcasts and blog posts could appeal to all writers. Katie Davis is an ambitious individual. Her joy and enthusiasm serve her well and her ramblings and (occasional) rants are very entertaining. Knowledgeable on the technological front, Katie thrives to help others by sharing her findings – such as the demo of the interactive business cards found on blog post #128 – Augmented Reality Apps and Children’s Books.

Katie Davis has published 9 books: Little Chicken’s Big Day; Kindergarten Rocks; Who Hops; Who Hoots; Mabel the Tooth Fairy and How She Got Her Job; Party Animals; I Hate to Go to Bed; Scared Stiff and The Curse of Addy McMahon. She produces her own podcast called Brain Burps About Books, writes a blog and sends out a regular newsletter. Katie appears on Good Morning Connecticut where she recommends books for kids and she also posts the videos on her blog.

You can also check out her video biography posted on my Facebook page earlier this month.

About Denise Reashore

Denise M. Reashore spends most of her free time reading, writing, and gardening - - or staring out the window at the brightness of a new day and dreaming of digging in the earth. Throughout the winter, precious free time goes into mapping and planning her future garden and, hopefully, writing and reading retreat. The rest of the time, from September to June, she spends working as an elementary school teacher. She lives on almost 3 acres, in an old Victorian style home, with her husband, two lovely daughters, and a cat.
